Why this site exists
Remote help is hard to compare. Offers differ on hours, on who the assistant is, on how access works and on what happens when someone is out sick. This site lays out how the common setups work, in plain terms, for admin, customer messages, CRM upkeep and invoicing admin.
When you are ready, the quote form sends your request to a service partner that provides assistants. They answer your questions and send you a proposal. You decide from there.
Setting up access and instructions
Good assistant work rests on the right access and clear instructions. For access, the usual approach is delegation instead of shared logins. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 both let you delegate a mailbox and calendar, and most CRMs and accounting tools let you add a user with a limited role. Passwords and one-time codes go through a password manager, so you can revoke them in one place.
For instructions, write down each task as you do it now, odd cases included. The assistant turns that into a checklist and updates it as things change. When something falls outside the checklist, they ask.
Where our role ends
This site does not employ anyone, run a staffing agency or supply workers directly. It explains assistant services and routes quote requests to a service partner. You agree the terms with that partner.
Treat anything here as general information. Nothing on these pages changes your own obligations as an employer or business owner. For legal, tax, accounting or employment questions, ask a qualified professional who knows your business.
